Children of James and Sarah
- James was born 2 May 1769 probably in Maryland. He died as a young man and requested to be buried on Cooper's Mountain. He never married.
- Susannah was born 25 Apr 1771 probably in Maryland.
- Mary was born 15 Feb 1773 probably in Maryland
- Peter was born in May of 1774. He married Susan Edwards the daughter of Thomas Edwards and Mary Mosely.
- William was born Feb 1776 and married Michael Frazier 29 Dec 1802 the daughter of Malachi Frazier of Granville Co.
- Daniel was born Nov 1777 and married Judith Frazier sister to Michael, on 7 Feb 1803
- Abraham born Nov 1778 and married Nancy Pinson 17 Nov 1803
- Sarah born 10 Aug 1780
- Joseph born Feb 1784
- Ann born Oct 1785
- Elizabeth born 12 Mar 1787
- John born May 1790 married Ann. J. Wilkerson 16 Dec 1822 daughter of James Wilkerson and Sarah Sanford
Some of William's children moved into Kentucky.
